The New Mexico Museum of Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA
The Members’ Exhibition of the International Academy of Ceramics, during the 45th General Assembly, is being hosted by the New Mexico Museum of Art. The museum is a one-block walk from the La Fonda hotel, our headquarters. New World: Timeless Visions, the Assembly theme, is reflected in many of the members’ works in the exhibition. Each attending member of the Academy will receive a copy of the full color catalog. The museum is sponsoring a reception for members on Tuesday evening, September 18, 2012.
Ecumene: Global Interface in American Ceramics is a nationally curated exhibition sponsored by the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA). It is being hosted by the Santa Fe Community College, and will open with a reception for IAC members on Wednesday evening September 19, 2012. Shuttle buses will transport members from the La Fonda Hotel.
American Visions in Clay, a benefit exhibition featuring 15 American IAC members will be hosted by Patina Gallery, one block west of the New Mexico Museum of Art. Patina will host a reception 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2012.
